Monaco GP 11

Steinmetz and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes raced together again for a seventh year at the Monaco Grand Prix. As is customary, Steinmetz and Vodafone McLaren Mercedes drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button, collaborated to create innovative and unique designs for the driver's helmets. The helmets took six months to complete - the same amount of time and dedicated craftsmanship required to produce intricate diamond jewellery.
Embellished with approximately 10 carats of exquisite hand-crafted Steinmetz diamonds, Button and Hamilton have decided to use the opportunity to draw audience attention to a worthy cause. Button's helmet design is dedicated to the tsunami victims of Japan. He will donate the proceeds from the auction of the helmet to the Japan Tsunami Fund while Hamilton's signature yellow helmet with playful dice and his name emblazoned in diamonds will donate proceeds to the Lewis Hamilton Charity.
