The Monaco GP 2004 became even more glamorous when the Steinmetz-Jaguar cars raced with diamonds in their nosecone. And when one of the Jaguars crashed into the barriers, much more was lost than the race itself. A shirt button-sized diamond fell off never to be found again! The other highlight at the sparkling event was the launch of the diamond-studded trophy that was presented to race winner, JarnoTrulli. The Steinmetz Monaco Grand Prix Trophy is now an annual tradition at the Monaco GP – a tribute to the beauty of flawless diamonds and flawless engineering.
